Yes. To change it, dial a star code prefix before dialing out. For example:

  • Default: Caller ID 1
  • *72124441100 for Caller ID 2

These star prefixes may have a one-time $40 setup charge.

YES! VoIP SMS can be shared among multiple extensions using the app on PCs, smart devices, SIM cards, or eSIMs.

YES! Each SIM or eSIM must have its own number associated with it to register with the wireless network provider. Each SIM or eSIM can send and receive SMS via its assigned number. To use a different number, you must connect it to VoIP SMS.

Supported, limited to 10MB on the app and 1MB on the wireless MMS standard.

It supports MMS attachments, but it’s not designed to replace WhatsApp.

No! We can port your number’s SMS channel over to AT&T’s wireless network, allowing you to enjoy unlimited SMS and MMS without needing to comply with VoIP 10DLC requirements and without paying the VoIP SMS and MMS price per message.

When using AT&T for SMS and MMS, AT&T includes it in the price of the SIM service and passes those savings on to you!

In contrast, VoIP SMS and VoIP MMS are required to adhere to the new 10DLC regulations, which come with much higher pricing. Instead of imposing bundles and higher prices, we want you to have the freedom to set your own price by paying only for what you need. If bundle pricing would serve you better, contact us.

No. Since the voicemail service is controlled via VoIP, visual voicemail is not available on VoIP. Only on our ConnectUC PC and Mobile Apps

With VoIP, you can have all phone extensions (1 or 1000) show the same caller ID name and number. Alternatively, if you have multiple phone numbers, you can assign each extension a specific number to show as its caller ID. Using a SIM or eSIM as an extension works the same way.

Yes, but since there is no physical transfer button, you need to use a star code to transfer calls. For example, *971001 (*97 = transfer, 1001 to extension 1001).

Yes, We offer a dedicated product called “CloudMessage”.

We use AT&T’s robust wireless network. All voice calls utilize their VoLTE, which means you get the highest priority network connection and fewer dropped calls compared to data apps.

Push-to-talk is an AT&T-only feature, it will only work if AT&T is providing the services. We use AT&T’s wireless network to connect to the VoIP service. The VoIP service controls the calls.

Cell phones are used for both business and personal purposes. Usage charges are higher when they are connected to multiple networks and carriers. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Instead of charging a hefty price for the SIM service or restricting usage, we chose to let you decide how much you want to pay based on your actual usage.
